In a post on Twitter, Hillary Clinton announced Monday that she’d officially formed a new political group aimed at gathering support to oppose the presidency of Donald Trump. The group, named Onward Together, will raise funds and organize support for potential candidates to see their ambitions through and run for local office on progressive-based agendas.

“More than ever, I believe citizen engagement is vital to our democracy,” Clinton said in a tweet. “I’m so inspired by everyone stepping up to organize and lead.” In another tweet, Clinton acknowledged that she’s not in a place she expected to be, but that she remains optimistic. “This year hasn’t been what I envisioned, but I know what I’m still fighting for: a kinder, big-hearted, inclusive America. Onward!” She added that former president candidate, Vermont governor and DNC chair Howard Dean would play a key role in the new group, but didn’t elaborate on exactly what it would be.

Last month, Clinton gave her first interview since the election at the 8th Annual Women in the World Summit. She sat down with New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof for a broad discussion on the crisis in Syria, the forces that propelled Trump to victory, and whether she’ll ever run for office again. Watch it in full and see the highlights below.
