Lara Trump — wife of Eric Trump and a former producer for Inside Edition — has launched a weekly video series, posted to President Donald Trump’s Facebook page, that aims to inform viewers of “all the accomplishments the president had this week, because there is so much ‘fake news’ out there.”

The broadcast only included positive stories, all of which had actually been reported elsewhere in the media. Not included were the turmoil in the White House communications department, the ouster of chief of staff Reince Priebus, the president’s assertion transgender people would be banned from the military, and his failure to repeal the Affordable Care Act in the Senate.

The slick presentation, which has already been viewed more than 2 million times, is shot against a backdrop promoting the president’s campaign website.

The video ends with Trump saying: “Thanks for joining us everybody, I’m Lara Trump and that is the real news.”
